As per the recent mandate from the Government of India via Gazette Notification issued by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoH&FW), dated 18th January 2022, will come into effect from 01-January-2023, & mentions –
“Every active pharmaceutical ingredient (bulk drug) manufactured or imported in India shall bear Quick Response code on its label at each level packaging that store data or information readable with software application to facilitate tracking and tracing. The stored data or information shall include the following minimum particulars, namely:— Unique product identification code, Name of the API, Brand name (if any), Name and address of the manufacturer, Batch no., Batch size, Date of manufacturing, Date of expiry or retesting, Serial shipping container code, Manufacturing licence no. or import licence no, Special storage conditions required (if any).”
Features of Software Application includes
· Generating QR Code based Product Identification Labels including all required information as per mandate laid by Gov. Of India.
· Keeps record of each Product and Batch along with the batch size/Grade etc.
· Creating unique serialized container serial number for each pack/container.
· Record each activity and provide Audit trail reports
· Maintain Product Master data
· Generate Required MIS reports
· Software will meet the CFR 21 Part 11 compliance.
